CLARK – Clark UNICO will hold its annual observance of Columbus Day this Sunday, Oct. 7, at noon on the grounds of the Italian-American Feast. Invited guests include Clark Mayor Sal Bonaccorso, Township Council President Sheila Whiting, township council members, and Superintendent of Schools Kenneth J. Knops.
Students who participated in the Columbus Day essay contest will read their winning entries. Dignitaries will offer brief remarks. Henry Varriano will direct the program.
The Italian-American Feast is located on the grounds of the Clark Municipal Building on Westfield Avenue this weekend, Oct. 5, 6 and 7. It will be open Friday night from 6-11 p.m., Saturday from 1-11 p.m., and Sunday from 1–10 p.m. The feast offers rides, games, raffles, nightly entertainment, beer, wine and of course a huge selection of food.
