CLARK — Students in Ms. Golinowski’s fifth period Economics Class at Arthur L. Johnson High School in Clark square off in a debate over the state of the economy. Students were given a class period in the computer lab to research the three economic indicators, which are Gross Domestic Product, Consumer Price Index, and the Unemployment Rate. Based on the information the students compiled they were given the opportunity to debate in class whether or not the economy has improved since President Obama took office in January 2009.
