CLARK – Police continue to investigate leads as they search for a 16-year-old Clark girl who has been missing since Sunday evening.

Clark Police Chief Alan Scherb confirmed that Kara Alongi purchased a train ticket to Penn Station in New York on Sunday evening and said in a statement that police were continuing to work with New Jersey Transit to review video available at the train stations.

The Clark Police Department also released a surveillance camera photo of a girl believed to be Alongi that was taken at the Rahway train station.

“We urge anyone who might know where Kara is to contact the Clark Police Department or send an anonymous tip to Union County Crime Stoppers at 908-654-TIPS, www.uctip.org or Text UCTIP plus a message to274637,” Scherb said via statement.
