LINDEN–School No. 10 third graders recently read a historical fiction book called “I Survived September 11th.” The main characters were a boy and his uncle, who was a firefighter. The book shows how the firefighters were very helpful and sacrificed for the victims of Sept. 11. Both third grade classes from School No.10 decided to write thank you cards and letters to our local firefighters in appreciation for their being ready to save our lives every day. The cards and letters will hang in the Linden Firehouse. Pictured is Mrs. Kim Kefalas, School No. 10 3rd grade teacher, along with Linden Fire Fighters.
