SCOTCH PLAINS – After breast cancer, what things can you do to stay healthy? Find out at a special program at the RWJ Rahway Fitness & Wellness Center on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 5:30 p.m.
The program features Dr. Aparna Kolli, oncology surgeon with the Cancer Institute of New Jersey, along with CINJ social worker Deb Leif. The two will discuss staying healthy after breast cancer, focusing on the benefits of exercise and positive mental health. Dr. Kolli is an assistant professor of surgery at CINJ, New Jersey’s only National Cancer Institute Comprehensive Cancer Center.
The program is free, but seating is limited. To save a place, phone 1-732-499-6193. The RWJ Rahway Fitness & Wellness Center is located at 2120 Lamberts Mill Road, Scotch Plains. The program is presented by the Breast Cancer Support Group at RWJ Rahway. The support group meets the first Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. at the RWJ Rahway Fitness & Wellness Center.
