State Bar Foundation Offers Free Seminar On Harassment, Other Workplace Issues

NEW BRUNSWICK — The New Jersey State Bar Foundation will sponsor a free public seminar, “Harassment and Other Employment Issues in the Workplace,” on Wednesday, Oct. 17, from 7-9 p.m. at the New Jersey Law Center off Ryders Lane in New Brunswick.

A variety of related subject matter will be discussed, including a general overview of harassment and discrimination, the use of electronic media and devices, employee rights and what employers need to be wary of, and hot topics/recent trends in the law. A question-and-answer period will follow presentations by two noted employment law attorneys: John Shahdanian II, Esq., a partner with Chasan Leyner & Lamparello, PC, Secaucus; and Tedd J. Kochman, Esq., a shareholder of Littler Mendelson, PC, Newark.

The seminar is free and open to the public. Advance registration is required.
