CLARK — Students in Ms. Rica and Mrs. Gotti’s fifth grade class at Valley Road School in Clark demonstrate knowledge of writing by revising their pieces for homework to create strong leads. The next day, students brought their homework back to school to share with their writing partners. Before students met with their partners on the rug in the classroom, Ms. Gotti and her students review strong leads. After sharing their revisions with their partners, they gave each other useful feedback.
