CLARK — All senior health classes at Arthur L. Johnson in Clark met with Carlos Gomez, a representative from Berkeley College on Sept. 25. Berkeley is a four-year college that was established in 1931. Gomez first showed seniors that Berkeley is very easy to access by downloading their app onto a smart phone. The Berkeley College app has open house dates, financial aid, majors, and a virtual tour. Berkeley has eight locations, four in New Jersey and four in New York.

Also, all seniors accomplished a workshop with Gomez called, “For the Health of it”. This went over healthy eating, beneficial work out tips, and good and bad habits. This workshop questioned seniors on what path will they take next year at college, good or bad. For example, getting the right amount of sleep is pretty crucial to how a college students function. Gomez ended his workshop with telling our student here at ALJ that writing your goals down is an important tool to succeeding in college.
