RAHWAY — Golfers at RWJ Rahway Foundation’s 29th Annual Golf Classic teed off Monday on a beautiful fall day at Echo Lake Country Club in Westfield. “It was great to see such wonderful support for our hospital,” said Marlene H. Lubinger, Foundation President and Golf Co-chair.

Kevin Headd, Golf Classic Co-Chair and retired golf pro said, “We are so grateful to Prudential Retirement for their Title Sponsorship and continued support,” adding his appreciation to the golf committee for their dedication and hard work to raise funds to benefit the hospital and its patients.

In addition to Prudential Retirement, other special sponsors of the Golf Classic included Classic Sponsor, Rahway Pathology, P.A.; Fairway Sponsor, QualCare, Inc. and Bogey Sponsors, K & L Gates and New York Radiology Alliance.

Hole-in-one sponsors were Martin Jewelers of Cranford and Ray Catena Infiniti of Edison.

The Chipping Contest was sponsored by Station Cab, Rahway, and the Putting Contest was sponsored by Chen, Wang & Guarino, M.D., P.A.

Ladies Closest to the Pin was won by Cheryl Cohen, WithumSmith+Brown and Longest Drive was won by Eileen Leahey, PSE&G. Men’s Closest to the Pin went to Wayne Kalwaytis, QualCare, Inc. and Longest Drive went to Tom Reade, Phillips 66 – Bayway Refinery.

First place for Low Gross Teams went to Dave Kern, Brian Rego, Bob Saraceno and Jeff Vanderoef from Rahway Regional Cancer Center. First place for Low Net Calloway Teams went to Warren Moore, Joe Dobosh, Bill Dwyer and Dan Faber from Children’s Specialized Hospital.
