LINDEN — At Linden School No. 2, the students in Tamika Charles’ fifth grade class learn how special days are celebrated throughout the world. Recently they learned that Rosh Hashanah is the celebration of a new year and a time to create new goals, and that Yom Kippur is the Day of Atonement, where one asks for forgiveness and self-reflects on how to become better.
