CLARK — During the first couple weeks of school the students in Miss Franko’s sixth grade science classes at the Carl H. Kumpf Middle School in Clark learned all about the important ways to be safe while working in the lab. Some of these rules included: no food in the lab, always wear the proper safety equipment, follow directions, and many more. To demonstrate their understanding each student was asked to create a lab safety poster that illustrated one of the important rules to always follow in the lab. In the picture above Angela Duffala, Alexandra Chieco, Jake Tarentino, and Justin Rafferty are holding their lab safety posters. (Photo courtesy of Clark Public Schools)
