CLARK — Students in Meredith Qualshie and Nicole Drasin’s seventh grade math class at Carl H. Kumpf Middle School in Clark have been working with integers as part of their number system unit. They started off the week adding positive and negative numbers using a number line on their paper, but found it more relatable to use their feet and the number line on the floor. Next week they will begin discovering ways to add and subtract positive and negative numbers without the use of their number line.
