RAHWAY — Mr. and Mrs. Ron Perry, residing at 255 East Grand Avenue, will host a free eat, meet and greet for former Councilman Lawrence C. Bodine on Saturday, Sept. 29, from 2-4 p.m.
“Bo,” as he is affectionately known about town, is running on the Republican line for City Council in the First Ward this November. He believes that the current all-Democrat does not represent the wishes of Rahway residents and said that they have dramatically increased taxes and fees over the last 10 years.
In an effort to meet as many voters in the First Ward, besides visiting residents door to door, he has asked supporters to hold a “Meet and Greet” for him. To attend the Sept. 29 event, you must be a registered voter in the First Ward and have ID. Admission entitles you to one hot dog and a soda or water. Bodine will also accept campaign donations at the event.
