CLARK — Eighth grade students Cristina Colon, Sabrina Parin, Corinne Pencinger and Sarah Dos Santos in Kirstin Bethavas’ social studies class at Carl H. Kumpf Middle School in Clark work together to piece together a map of South America. Students worked collaboratively to create detailed maps of Latin America, which they then turned into jigsaw puzzles for their classmates to reassemble and analyze. Students are learning about the geography and climate of Latin America in preparation for an in-depth study of the history and culture of the region. (Photo courtesy of Clark Public Schools)
