Newark Bears Gear Up For “Stadium Of Screams” Halloween Event

NEWARK — The Newark Bears professional baseball team will once again welcome fans into a haunted ballpark this Halloween, as ghosts of Newark’s past baseball players come back to terrorize those who attend the second annual “Stadium of Screams.”

This week, the team released the first two “Stadium of Screams” promotional videos, featuring an intern investigating suspicious activities at the ballpark, as a preview of the nine-day event.

One of the best haunted house experiences in New Jersey, the “Stadium of Screams” will run on the following days: Oct. 18 – 21, 25 – 28 and 31 from 7 p.m. to midnight.

There will be plenty of frights, but there is something for the entire family. The Bears will also be hosting mystery dinners, costume contests and even the inaugural “Barkula”—a dog-friendly costume contest.
