Middlesex County To Hold Emergency Services Day

EAST BRUNSWICK – Middlesex Residents of all ages are invited to come out to Brunswick Square Mall in East Brunswick this Saturday for the first ever Middlesex County Emergency Services Day.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22.

The County will showcase its emergency response equipment and personnel, including the county’s fire safety trailer, its drug and explosives-finding canines, its mobile command unit and medical ambulance bus and the animal response trailer.

The county’s Urban Search and Rescue Team and Hazardous Materials Unit also will be on hand.

Attendees will be able to view equipment and vehicles, ask questions and meet representatives from the Office of Emergency Management and the County Fire Marshal’s Office, hazardous materials specialists, Middlesex County law enforcement officers and local fire and police personnel.

The Middlesex County’s Sheriff’s Department will conduct child fingerprinting, and car seat safety inspections will be provided.
