SOUTH AMBOY — Raritan Bay Medical Center’s Division of Integrative Medicine will provide a free educational seminar, “Mind-Body Strategies for Weight Management” about stress and lifestyle changes, used to get the body back into balance, as part of a Bariatric Program demonstration Wednesday, Sept. 26, at 6:30 p.m. at the South Amboy YMCA. Participants will learn relaxing ways to get their strength back and feel well again. After the session, personal trainer Keisha Griffin will provide a demonstration of the Y’s 12-week Bariatric Program, designed for patients from the medical center’s Institute for Weight Loss, to ease them back into a fitness and nutritional routine after weight loss surgery.
