Clark Police Blotter: Brooklyn Man Charged With Credit Card Fraud

Sept. 3 at 2 p.m. – Officer Omer Olmeda investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked at 76 Central Avenue.

Sept. 5 at 3:51 p.m. – In the vicinity of the Garden State Parkway southbound, Officer Dan Pitts arrested Brooklyn, N.Y. resident Keenen Simmons, 21, and charged him with credit card fraud. Simmons was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

Sept. 6 at 10:45 a.m. – Officer Dan Pitts investigated a report of a theft of items from a motor vehicle, which was parked at a Grove Street address.

Sept. 7 at 8:14 p.m. – Officer Christian Lott investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked at an address on the 200 block of Lexington Boulevard.

Sept. 7 at 10:23 p.m. – At 76 Central Avenue, Officer Miguel Acabou arrested Point Pleasant resident Anthony Brescia, 61, single, and charged him with shoplifting merchandise valued at $158.48 from the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Avenue. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

Sept. 8 at 8:15 a.m. – In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue and Brant Avenue, Officer Kenneth Gaulette arrested Bloomfield resident Giangelo Good, 32, on outstanding warrants from East Orange and Montclair for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the East Orange Police Department.

Sept. 9 at 11:40 p.m. – In the vicinity of Raritan Road, Officer Christian Lott arrested Elizabeth resident Fernando Nole, 35, and charged him with DUI. He was subsequently released pending a court date.

Sept. 10 at 12:50 p.m. – Officer Chris Tuccio investigated a report of a theft of items from a motor vehicle, which was parked at an address on the 100 block of Westfield Avenue.

Sept. 14 at 9:50 p.m. – In the vicinity of Central Avenue and Virginia Street, Sgt. Pat Grady arrested Edison resident Christine Arnold, 28, and charged her with possession of CDS. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date.

Sept. 16 at 5:48 p.m. – At 77 Central Avenue, Officer Joshua Disano arrested Verona resident Frank Simone, 44, and charged him with shoplifting at the Marshall’s Department Store. He was subsequently released pending a court date.
