ROSELLE PARK – Church of the Assumption in Roselle Park, will be having a “Sock Hop” on Sept. 29 from 6:30 – 11:30 p.m. in the parish’s Msgr. Loreti Hall. Tickets are $30, on sale after all Masses.
Relive the era of rock ‘n roll music with songs by the band “Remember When” (if you are too young to remember than just come and enjoy!) There will be a contest for the “Best Dressed” (remember “poodle skirts”?) and the “Best Twister” dancer. The menu includes assorted sub sandwiches, Mom’s Mac & Cheese, coleslaw, ice cream sodas famous from that era, coffee, cake, and more!
