CLARK — Students in Olivia Gerlitz’s fifth grade class at Valley Road School in Clark explored how math and numbers are a fundamental part of everyday life. The students utilized their creativity as they each created a poster showing how math affects their lives personally. Through this project, students came to the understanding that math is everywhere, not just in the school environment.
