EAST BRUNSWICK — Middlesex County 4-H is planning an open house on Sunday, Oct. 7, from 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 7 at the 4-H Center at 645 Cranbury Road in East Brunswick. 4-H offers learning and fun for youth in a variety of project areas from animals, to dance, to leadership.
There are over 25 different 4-H clubs within Middlesex County. The open house will give kids a chance to see which ones might interest them; and for adults to see which clubs they might volunteer for. Attendees can meet 4-H members and volunteer leaders, enjoy petting zoos and demonstrations or even join a 4-H club. There will be animal and dance demonstrations throughout the event.
For more information, contact the Middlesex County 4-H office at 1-732-398-5261. For more info on local 4-H clubs, visit www.co.middlesex.nj.us/extensionservices/4hclubListing.asp.
