RAHWAY – Rahway Arts District, Inc. a non-profit arts and economic development organization in Rahway, announced Artist Buzz, a monthly social networking night for artists. Artist Buzz is an opportunity for artists to meet and socialize with other area artists, share ideas, information, and network, in an informal, friendly atmosphere. Artist Buzz will be held at different restaurants and venues throughout Rahway from month to month.
The first event will be held at Cubanu Restaurant & Lounge, 1467 Main Street in Rahway on Wednesday, Sept. 26, from 7-9 p.m. Cubanu is offering a $5 martini as the “Starving Artist” featured cocktail for the evening. There is no cover charge. Cubanu features a full menu of Cuban cuisine, including tapas, entrees, and signature drinks like flavored Mojitos.
Future Artist Buzz events will include a Halloween-themed meet up, slide slam, video/film screening, game night, and other opportunities to socialize and network.
