CARTERET – The borough will hold a special memorial service in honor of 9/11 on Tuesday, Sept. 11, at 6:45 p.m. at the 9/11 Memorial at Carteret Park. The service will honor those who perished in New York City, Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania and remember Carteret’s own Colleen Ann Meehan Barkow, Jayceryll M. DeChavez and Joseph Mangano.
