NORTH BRUNSWICK — The Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex Vicinage, the Middlesex County Bar Association and the North Brunswick Public Library will host an expungement workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the North Brunswick Public Library, 880 Hermann Road, North Brunswick.
The workshop will provide participants with information about recent changes in the expungement law, who is eligible for expungement, which types of convictions can be expunged, how an expungement is filed, and what happens at an expungement hearing. Local attorneys will be available to answer general questions about the process.
Forms and instructions will be provided to participants who want to file as self-represented litigants. Because this is an informational workshop only, no personal cases can be discussed or resolved.
The workshop is free and is open to all Middlesex County residents. Call Luis Hernandez, ombudsman, at 1-732-519-3344 to reserve a seat.
