All persons arrested and charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Aug. 20 at 11:09 p.m. – Officer Joshua Disano arrested Clark resident Emerson Silva, 21, and charged him with possession of CDS in a motor vehicle. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date

Aug. 29 at 4:27 p.m. – In the vicinity of Brant Avenue, Officer Daniel Joy arrested Clark resident Daniel Alvarez, 25, and charged him with possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

Aug. 30 at 1:41 p.m. – In the vicinity of the GSP northbound connector, Det. Antonio Manata arrested Newark resident Jamal Johnson, 35, and charged him with possession of CDS with intent to distribute. Bail was set at $6,500, and he was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.

Aug. 30 at 6:27 p.m. – At 76 Central Avenue, Det. George Marmarou arrested Newark resident Tiffany Allen, 22, and charged her with forgery. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date.

Aug. 30 at 10:14 p.m. – Officer Joshua Disano investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle that was parked at 225 Central Avenue.

Aug. 30 at 10:19 p.m. – Officer Joshua Disano investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle that was parked at 140 Central Avenue.

Sept. 1 at 9:45 a.m. – In the vicinity of the GSP northbound connector, Det. Antonio Manata arrested Rahway resident Michael Lafalce, 48 and charged him with possession of CDS and possession of CDS paraphernalia. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

Sept. 1 at 10:34 a.m. – In the vicinity of Brant Avenue and Lexington Boulevard, Officer Chris Tuccio arrested Rahway resident Raheem Rashada, 51, on an outstanding warrant from the Essex County Sheriff’s Department. He was subsequently transported to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

Sept. 2 at 2:32 a.m. – In the vicinity of Valley Road and Union County Parkway, Officer Pedro Oliveira arrested Linden resident Paul Lipke, 47, and charged him with DWI. He was subsequently released pending a court date.
