CLARK–The Friends of the Clark Public Library announced the acquisition of a Library Membership Pass to the Intrepid Museum in New York City. The pass will admit up to six people per day.
Learn about life on board an aircraft carrier and the heroism of all who served aboard her. The aircraft carrier USS Intrepid served tours of duty through World War II and Vietnam, making seven trips around the globe and surviving five kamikaze attacks and one torpedo strike. Please note that admission to the Shuttle Pavilion is not included with this pass.
The library anticipates the pass will be available beginning Sept. 10. The pass will be available only to resident adult Clark Public Library cardholders in good standing. The pass will be checked out for four days and will be available on a first come, first served basis.
Diane Smith, president of the Friends of the Clark Public Library would like to thank Kim Alongi, secretary of the Friends for securing the pass for the museum. Smith states “It is the hard work and dedication of our volunteers that make these programs possible.”
