HIGHLAND PARK — The Brown University Club of Central New Jersey held a send-off party for entering freshmen Aug. 12 in Rumson. Elliott Liebling, Highland Park, is one of six students from Middlesex County who will attend the Ivy League university. A graduate of Rutgers Preparatory School, he attended the party with his parents and brother.

The club is a nonprofit organization that holds activities throughout the year; interviews prospective students; and raises funds for junior high school students to attend summer programs at Brown, in Providence, R.I.
