Hamilton Stage To Hold Auditions For National Anthem Singer For Inaugural Performance

RAHWAY–Hamilton Stage is seeking an voice or a group of voices to salute the country with an their rendition of The Star Spangled Banner to open the Hello Hamilton! opening performance. The audition will be held on Thursday, Sept. 13, from 6-8 p.m. at Hamilton Stage.

Interested singers should RSVP on the Hamilton Stage website, www.hamiltonstage.org, by clicking on “Connect” and selecting “My Voice Should Open Hamilton Stage.” All those auditioning should be prepared to sing The Star Spangled Banner in its entirety and must sing a cappella. The audition will take place in front of a panel of judges.

Hello Hamilton!, the very first performance in Rahway’s new 199-seat theater, is hosted by Suzzanne Douglas and Chesney Snow and includes a special appearance by Liz Callaway and performances by the Artistic Affiliates. The evening is followed by a post-performance cocktail party for patrons to mingle with Rahway’s new artistic talent and celebrate the newest facility in the region for artists. Tickets for Performance and Party: $100, Party Only: $25. Hamilton Stage is part of the Union County Performing Arts Center Campus and is located at 360 Hamilton Street in Rahway.
