Free Concert • Aug. 24 at 7:30 p.m. – Van Martin and His All Stars will play the big band sound of Sinatra, Martin & Manilow at the Raymond Wood Bauer Promenade, 400 N. Blood Drive • Aug. 25 from 12:30 – 6:30 p.m. – The Outlet Collection/Jersey Gardens, 651 Kapkowski Rd., Elizabeth, will host a blood drive in conjunction with New Jersey Blood Services. Donors must be 17, or 16 with parental permission, weigh at least 110 lbs., and present photo or signed ID. Donors over 75 can keep donating with a note from their doctor. Paddling Around Cape May • Aug. 25 from 5:30-8 p.m. – On a kayak or stand-up paddleboard, paddle along the Cape May Cove and gain a unique perspective on the NJ Conservancy’s marine conservation plans. Blood Drive • Aug. 26 from 7:45 a.m. – 1:45 p.m. – The Sacred Heart Council of Catholic Women, South Amboy, in conjunction with NJ Blood Services, will hold a blood drive in the school cafeteria, located behind the convent on Walnut St. Each donor will receive a pair of tickets to a New York Mets baseball game. Classic Car Show • Aug. 26 from noon-6 p.m. – The inaugural classic car show to support the Heart & Lung Center at Deborah Hospital, organized by the Colonia Chapter of the Deborah Hospital Foundation, will be held at the corner of Washington and High streets in Perth Amboy. Concerts By The Bay • Aug. 26 at 3 p.m. – Perth Amboy’s free Concerts By The Bay series continues at Bayview Park on Water St., at the foot of Market St. In the event of rain or excessive heat, the concert will be held at the McGinnis School on State St.

Concert • Aug. 26 at 6:30 p.m. – Calvary Chapel Old Bridge, 123 White Oak Lane, Old Bridge, will host a free concert by Rocky Loves Emily before the Harvest America Outreach with Pastor Greg Laurie broadcasting his gospel message live from Anaheim, Calif. Info: 1-732-479-0604


HIV Support Group • Aug. 27 at 6 p.m. – Raritan Bay Medical Center is sponsoring an HIV support group meeting at the hospital’s Perth Amboy Division, New Brunswick Ave. Anyone diagnosed with or caring for someone infected with HIV is welcome. To register, call 1-732-324-5022.
