Blood Drive • Aug. 25 from 12:30 – 6:30 p.m. – The Outlet Collection/Jersey Gardens, 651 Kapkowski Rd., Elizabeth, will host a blood drive in conjunction with New Jersey Blood Services. Donors must be 17, or 16 with parental permission, weigh at least 110 lbs., and present photo or signed ID. Donors over 75 can keep donating with a note from their doctor. Blood Drive • Aug. 26 from 7:45 a.m. – 1:45 p.m. – The Sacred Heart Council of Catholic Women, South Amboy, in conjunction with NJ Blood Services, will hold a blood drive in the school cafeteria, located behind the convent on Walnut St. Each donor will receive a pair of tickets to a New York Mets baseball game. Classic Car Show • Aug. 26 from noon-6 p.m. – The inaugural classic car show to support the Heart & Lung Center at Deborah Hospital, organized by the Colonia Chapter of the Deborah Hospital Foundation, will be held at the corner of Washington and High streets in Perth Amboy.
