Blood Drive • Aug. 23 from 1:30 – 7:30 p.m. – Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad, 875 Raritan Rd., Clark, will host a blood drive in conjunction with New Jersey Blood Services. Donors must be 17, or 16 with parental permission, weigh at least 110 lbs., and present photo or signed ID. Donors over 75 can keep donating with a note from their doctor. Biergarten • Aug. 24 from 5:30-10 p.m. – The Deustcher Club of Clark, 787 Featherbed Lane, will hold an authentic German biergarten with a Volkswagon car show. Free Concert • Aug. 24 at 7:30 p.m. – Van Martin and His All Stars will play the big band sound of Sinatra, Martin & Manilow at the Raymond Wood Bauer Promenade, 400 N.
