Linden Library To Host Free Fall Concert For Children

LINDEN — The Children’s Room of the Linden Public Library will host a free concert for children who live in Linden on Monday, Sept. 17, which is a vacation day for the Linden Public Schools.

The scheduled performer is Tommy Gardner. His solo CD “My Candy Tree” won the 2004 Parents Choice Award. This special fall event will be funded by the Union County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs.

Registration is required. Pick up your free tickets at the library now. The concert will be held on the third floor of the Linden Public Library building located at 31 Henry Street, just down the block from the 7-11 store. For questions, contact Karen Gray at
