STATE – A Sunoco gas station in Lapeer, Mich., about 45 miles north of Detroit, sold the lone winning ticket for the jackpot in last night’s Powerball drawing.

The winning numbers were 6, 27, 46, 51 and 56 and the red Powerball number was 21.

The top prize is worth $337 million if collected as an annuity over 29 years, or $241 million cash.

Eight tickets were sold that matched the five winning numbers for the $1 million second prize, including one sold in New Jersey. A ninth ticket matching the five numbers was sold in Nebraska, but the buyer added the Power Play option to make the prize worth $2 million.

The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 175,223,510, while the odds of matching the five numbers for the $1 million prize are 1 in 5,153,632.65. The overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 31.85.
