Cranford Readers’ Forum Announces 2012-13 Schedule

CRANFORD—The Readers’ Forum, the lively book discussion group of the Cranford Public Library, will begin its 20th year with a discussion of “Pride and Prejudice” (1813) by Jane Austen on Monday, Sept. 24.

Subsequent titles and dates are: “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time” (2003) by Mark Haddon, Oct. 22; “Last Night at the Lobster” (2007) by Stewart O’Nan, Nov. 26; “The Sense of an Ending” (2011) by Julian Barnes, Dec. 17; “Unbroken” (2010) by Laura Hillenbrand, Jan. 28, 2013; “The Story of Beautiful Girl” (2011) by Rachel Simon, Feb. 25; “Home” (2012) by Toni Morrison, March 18, 2013; “Canada” (2012) by Richard Ford, April 22, 2013; and “A Hologram for the King” (2012) by Dave Eggers, May 20, 2013.

All dates are Mondays. Sessions start at 7:00 p.m. and are held in the library’s Fridlington Room. New members are welcome at any time.
