Aug. 6 at 9:26 a.m. – Officer John Ehling investigated a report of criminal mischief to a Prescott Turn residence, where an exterior light fixture was damaged.

Aug. 6 at 6:08 p.m. – Officer Daniel Joy investigated a report of a theft of copper piping from a residence on the 1800 block of Grove Street.

Aug. 10 at 2:02 a.m. – In the vicinity of the 100 block of Westfield Avenue, Officer Brian Pereira arrested Roselle resident Gabriel Romero, 23, on an outstanding warrant from the Union County Sheriff’s Department. He was subsequently turned over to the Union County Sheriff’s Department.

Aug. 12 at 11:21 a.m. – Officer Dan Pitts investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle which was parked at Alice Lane.
