CARTERET – Due to a forecast that calls for rain, tonight’s Coffee House Open Mic Night will be held at the auditorium of Carteret High School, 199 Washington Avenue, from 8-10 p.m.
The Coffee House Open Mic Night program, begun in 2008, allows local and regional artists to take the stage in an impromptu performance venue with few limitations.
“Our Coffee House has evolved into a Friday night hotspot for both performers and fans of contemporary live performance,” said Mayor Daniel J. Reiman.
This is the final open mic night for the summer. Performances are normally held outside in front of Borough Hall.
