STATE — The New Jersey Education Association’s 125-member political action committee has voted to recommend for endorsement President Barack Obama for re-election, U.S. Senator Bob Menendez for re-election, and 11 candidates, including seven incumbents, for election to the U.S. Congress to the National Education Association’s (NEA) Fund for Children and Public Education. In addition, NJEA PAC has endorsed Marie Corfield for the New Jersey State Assembly in District 16.
“NJEA members and their families have a strong commitment to providing an excellent public education for every child in New Jersey,” said NJEA President Barbara Keshishian. “When we endorse candidates for public office, it is because we believe they share that same commitment to our public schools, our students, and our school employees.”
