FAIR LAWN–Deborah Scelzo has been appointed Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending Officer at Columbia Bank, Thomas J. Kemly, president and CEO announced.
In her new role, Scelzo will manage the bank’s Commercial and Industrial Lending Department. She joined Columbia Bank in 1986 as a commercial credit analyst and was subsequently promoted to loan review analyst in 1988 and to director of loan review in 1991.
“Deborah is a well-known figure in banking, business and community affairs,” Kemly noted. “She is an active member of her community, serving as a School PTA Delegate, as a Girl Scout Leader and as a Habitat for Humanity volunteer. She also serves as chairwoman of Columbia Bank’s Annual Food Drive.”
Scelzo holds a bachelors of science degree in finance from Seton Hall University. She resides in Oradell with her family.
