ELIZABETH–It will be a great day on the links or at the spa as the Trinitas Health Foundation’s Annual Golf Classic and Spa Day, set for Monday, Sept. 10, returns to the Echo Lake Country Club, at 515 Springfield Avenue in Westfield and the Vito Mazza Day Spa in Woodbridge.

“The move to Echo Lake Country Club last year brought our golfers and guests to one of the most beautiful settings for golf in the state and we’re happy to be back there again this year,” comments Nadine Brechner, chief development officer and executive director of the Trinitas Health Foundation. “The course in Echo Lake Park is referred to as ‘the hidden gem’ of New Jersey golf. The course is convenient to major Union County roads and has one of the loveliest and most well-appointed club houses around.”

The $650 per-golfer fee for the Classic covers golf, power cart, buffet brunch, refreshments on the course, cocktail reception, sit-down dinner, premium gifts, and a chance for exciting raffle prizes. There will be a single Shot Gun start at noon. Early registration is encouraged.
The Spa Day option at Vito Mazza Day Spa will begin with round trip limousine transportation from Echo Lake to the Spa in Woodbridge. Spa Sessions will be held at 8:15 a.m. or 11:15 a.m. The Spa Day is limited to only 29 guests at a cost of $650 per person.

“Evening Only” events — a cocktail reception and dinner — are available at a cost of $125.

“Our spa option has been a big hit since we introduced it in 2008 and it continues to be as much of a draw as the Golf Outing itself,” explains Brechner. “While golfers enjoy the day outside, those who want to relax and recharge can join us for a spa experience at one of the area’s premier day spas. Spirits are high at this fall fundraiser, so we look forward to welcoming those who have been with us in the past as well as those who will be with us for the first time this year who may then come back to be with us for other events,” Nadine sums up.

“Those who take part and support Trinitas Regional Medical Center at this fundraiser always have a great time,” explains Susan Head, Chairperson of the Trinitas Health Foundation. “By joining us at this event, businesses, corporations, agencies and individuals make a real difference in Trinitas’ ability to ensure quality healthcare in our community. A round of golf, networking with fellow golfers, or enjoying a stress-free day at the spa, plus cocktails and dinner, that’s a great day no matter how you look at it.”

Those interested in business and individual sponsorship opportunities are urged to contact Laura Ciraco, Director of Fund Raising Events, at 1-908-994-8101.
