TRENTON – While no one won the Powerball jackpot last night, one lucky New Jersey Lottery player can claim the third prize of $10,000. The jackpot for the Saturday, Aug. 4 drawing is now $181 million.
The $10,000 winning ticket was purchased at the Krauszer’s in South Plainfield. Along with the third tier prize winner of the Powerball game for the Wednesday, Aug. 1 drawing, 43,915 New Jersey Lottery players took home an estimated $234,660 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200, according to NJ Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger.
The winning numbers for the Wednesday, Aug. 1, drawing were: 03, 16, 48, 56, and 58. The Red Power Ball number was 04.
Players can watch live drawings on the New Jersey Lottery’s website, NJLottery.net, at 11 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
