SPRINGFIELD–The Summer International Film Festival continues at the Springfield Free Public Library on Thursday, July 26.
The library will screen Korkoro (2009) at 1 and 7 p.m. During the Second World War, a Gypsy family travels the roads of France before learning that the Vichy regime no longer gives them the right to travel freely. In French and German with English subtitles. 111 minutes. Not rated. Future screenings in this series include The Artist and Nora’s Will.
Funding for the film program has been made possible in part by the NJ State Council on the Arts, Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, through a grant administered by the Union County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs and by the Friends of the Springfield Free Public Library.
