Fright Fest Auditions Seek More Than 175 Zombies

JACKSON — Six Flags Great Adventure seeks more than 175 actors, dancers and specialty performers for its largest Fright Fest Halloween festival in its 21-year history.

The auditions will be held at Six Flags Great Adventure’s Employment Center, 1 Six Flags Boulevard, Jackson. Potential team members should use the Employment/Service Entrance on Route 537. Dance auditions will be in the Showcase Theater; acting auditions in employment center.

Dance auditions are scheduled for July 27 at 7 p.m. and July 28 at 12 p.m.
Zombie, performer and female singer/host auditions are scheduled for Aug. 11, 12, and 25 at 1 p.m. and Aug. 17 at 6 p.m.

Team members must be at least 16 years of age and should be available all operating days of Fright Fest, six weekends from Sept. 22 to Oct. 28, to be eligible for employment. New hires must complete a pre-employment application at before attending the audition.

During the audition, zombie actors should be ready to work through acting exercises and perform their best zombie – previous acting experience is not required. Acrobat, magicians and specialty performers will be expected to showcase their talent. Female singers/hosts should prepare Pink’s “Perfect” to sing a capella and a short comedic monologue. Dancers should be prepared to learn several combinations and showcase their best zombie character. Latecomers will not be permitted to audition.
