UNION COUNTY – United Way of Greater Union County (UWGUC) will host their annual Golf Classic on Monday, Aug. 6, at Canoe Brook Country Club in Summit, one of the county’s premiere private clubs. Former New York Giants running back Ottis Anderson will join the organization and its supporters for a day on the greens to help raise funds and awareness for the worthwhile cause.
“I have been a long time supporter of the United Way going back to my playing days,” said Anderson. “United Way does a tremendous amount of work to help make a powerful impact in the community. I am excited to be a part of this event and look forward to meeting other United Way supporters.”
Tournament proceeds will support United Way’s Community Fund, which helps to improve the live and change conditions in the community by strengthening families.
