Diaz was joined by the project contractor, Allied Environmental Signage and by engineer, Maser Consulting P.A. for the completion of Phase 1 sign installation, in addition to other city officials.
“This wayfinding signage project was years in the making and it’s finally being executed. I look forward to its completion in the next season. I want to thank the New Jersey Department of Transportation and the Urban Enterprise Zone for funding towards this project,” Diaz said.
Perth Amboy will install over 100 signs through the three phases of the project, which will be completed this fall and include new welcome/gateway, vehicular, directional, parking, pedestrian and historical marker signage.
