These Flowers Won’t Wilt In The Summer Heat!

ROSELLE PARK – “Roselle Park in Spring – Bloomin’ Beautiful!” a group exhibit of photographs by Roselle Park residents, will be on display at the Casano Community Center Art Gallery through Aug. 17. The art gallery is located in the Casano Community Center, 314 Chestnut St. Roselle Park. There will be a reception to meet the artists on July 18 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. The Casano Community Center and the Art Gallery hours are Monday – Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday until 5 p.m.

Five residents from Roselle Park responded with gorgeous photographs of spring scenes from their hometown. “It’s like walking through a flower garden! Some of these close-ups of roses and irises are spectacular. Summer heat won’t wilt these beauties,” commented the exhibit’s curator, Leona M Seufert. There are a total of 15 photographs in the show submitted by the following Roselle Park residents: Lynnor Bontigao, Liene T Kilgishova, Joy Panzarino, Leona M Seufert, Michele LoManto.

There will be a Best of Show award and Peoples’ Choice award.

The Art Gallery is located in the Casano Community Center, downtown Roselle Park, 314 Chestnut St. The mission of the Art Gallery is to give Roselle Park residents a venue to display their artistic works and connect with the community at large. The Art Gallery accepts work only from Roselle Park residents and must be two-imensional; no sculpture or jewelry will be accepted.
