HIGHLAND PARK — On Monday, July 2, The Reformed Church of Highland Park will hold a Parade for Freedom at 11 a.m.
The church invites the whole community and supporters throughout the region to attend. The parade will march around the town of Highland Park, starting and ending at the Reformed Church of Highland Park. The purpose is to remember that our founding fathers and mothers cared about religious liberty and to thank Sen. Frank Lautenberg for introducing a bill that would give Indonesians who escaped radical violence in the late 1990s, a chance to file for asylum without the one-year time bar.
