Aretha Franklin To Make Only NJ Appearance At NJPAC

NEWARK – Aretha Franklin, often referred to as the Queen of Soul, will perform at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark on Saturday, Nov. 10, at 8 p.m. Tickets are price at $39.50, $59.50, $79.50, $99.50, and $149.50 (incl. $3 facility fee) and will go on sale on Saturday, June 23 at 10 a.m.

Franklin is known for classics hits such as “Respect,” “Chain Of Fools,” “Think,” “Daydreaming,” “I Say A Little Prayer,” “Baby I Love You,” and “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.” She was named the “#1 Vocalist of All Time” by Rolling Stone magazine, and is a 2005 recipient of a Presidential Medal of Freedom honor, a Kennedy Center Honor, 18 Grammy Awards including Living Legend and Lifetime Achievement Awards and five American Music Awards. In 1987, she was the first woman to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and in 1979, received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
