UNION COUNTY-The old Railroad Terminal of the Central Railroad of New Jersey has been added to the State and National Registers of Historic Places. The terminal is now a restored building used for community and statewide events. It is also used to purchase ferry tickets to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, and overlooks the Hudson River in Jersey City.

Liberty State Park is a beautiful place to spend a few hours looking at the New York Skyline and seeing a little piece of Union County listed.

It’s amazing what can be found from the past of the area in other places.
