RAHWAY — The fourth graders from Madison Elementary School in Rahway recently went to the Marine Consortium located at Fort Hancock on Sandy Hook. Pictured are chaperones and students at Horseshoe Cove, which is bayside seining. All students get to experience putting on waders and going into the bay with a seining net to see what sea creatures live in the waters at the bay. The trip, which is funded by the school’s PTA is an extension of the science curriculum on Structures of Life. (Photos courtesy of Madison Elementary School)
