EAST BRUNSWICK — Rep. Rush Holt (D-12th Dist.) recently toured the East Brunswick campus of the Middlesex County Vocational and Technical Schools accompanied by Jane Oates, U.S. assistant secretary of labor for the Employment and Training Administration. They were at East Brunswick Vo-Tech for a meeting called by Holt of directors of county Workforce Investment Boards and other experts on education and vocational training. Their discussion centered on suggestions for changes to the Workforce Investment Act, which aims to get job seekers the education and training they need to find employment.
