WOODBRIDGE — The Superior Court of New Jersey, Middlesex Vicinage and the Middlesex County Bar Association will host an expungement seminar on Wednesday, June 20 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Woodbridge Public Library, 1 George Frederick Plaza, Woodbridge.
The workshop will provide participants with information about recent changes in the expungement law, who is eligible for expungement, which types of convictions can be expunged, how an expungement is filed, and what happens at an expungement hearing. Local attorneys will be available to answer general questions about the process.
Forms and instructions will be provided to participants who want to file as self-represented litigants. Because this is an informational workshop only, no personal cases can be discussed or resolved.
The workshop is free and is open to all Middlesex County residents. Participants are asked to call Luis Hernandez, ombudsman, at 1-732-519-3344 to reserve a seat.
